The Eastern Bay Parrothead Club proudly serves the Parrotheads of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We are a collection of folks who appreciate the music, writings, and kick back tropical lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett as well as his philosophy of leaving things just a little better than we found them, and having a great time while doing it, of course! Parrot Head clubs worldwide annually donate millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of man hours to local, national, and international charities, organizations, and philanthropic projects.

Parrothead Defined
Many people ask "What is a Parrothead?" A Parrothead is a fan of the award winning singer/songwriter and novelist Jimmy Buffett. Being a Parrot Head is a lifestyle, a state of mind. We load up Buffett's 30+ recordings in our music box and go where the sea water is warm, the trade winds blow, and the biggest worry is whether or not the ice in our Boat Drink will melt too fast.
We also Party With A Purpose! In 2010, Parrotheads donated over $2.9 Million and 215,000 Volunteer Hours! The Parrot Head title was bestowed upon us at a Cincinnati concert many years ago. When noticing the tropically-inspired costumes and props, so prevalent at a Buffett show, Jimmy commented that the audience reminded him of Dead Heads, just substitute the tie-dyes and beads for Hawaiian shirts and flower lei's. Band member Timothy B. Schmit (later of The Eagles) replied that we weren't Dead Heads, we were Parrot Heads! And the name has stuck with us ever since.
